TURTLE TRIP

This natural life and touring voyage from Zakynthos takes you into the glistening blue seas of the Ionian Sea. On a specially built Glass Bottom Boat, spot local loggerhead turtles swimming in Laganas Bay and take in views of Marathonisi, dubbed ‘Turtle Island’ due to its resemblance to the cute hard-shelled animals. Approach the spectacular rock formations of Keri Caves, where you can jump right off the boat into the crystal-clear waters.us.

You will be driven to Agios Sostis, where you will meet our skipper and board our boat. Right away, you’ll set sail for the gorgeous southern inlet of Laganas, where you’ll spend time trying to spot the amazing Loggerhead Turtles, also known as “Caretta – Caretta,” a rare animal that can live up to 150 years, swimming in their natural habitat. After that, we’ll transport you to Marathonisi (Turtle Island), where you can see turtle nests, and then to the Keri Caves, passing by the beautiful coastline along the way. The skipper will make swimming pauses (1 hour to Marathonisi – 20 minutes to Keri Caves) so that you may take a dip in the awe-inspiring waters.
